North Florida Archers Meeting Minutes

6:00 PM – September 2, 2009

• Officers present: John Guttry, Bill Laudermilk, Charles Laughlin, Jim Parsons, Charlie Nelson
• The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm.
• Charles Laughlin read the treasurer’s report. The treasurer’s report was approved as read
• Jim Parsons read the minutes of the August 5, 2009 meeting. The minutes were approved as read.
• Discussion of old business:
  • The planned video from the “Sportsman’s Channel” is still in discussions
  • Tree stands have now been numbered. Reminder, Tree stand #1 (Southern most stand) is permanently off limits.
  • As a result of an informal survey conducted at the extreme shoot, the Christmas party dinner menu will be the “Tour of Italy” menu. Details and menu items will follow at a later date.
• New Business:
  • Club members are reminded they should contact a club officer whenever a situation or problem is noticed at any of the club shoots. Club officers will then handle any issues that need to be taken care.
  • Members are also reminded that alcohol of any kind is strictly prohibited on club property. It is a violation of our Federal lease and city contract. Members found consuming alcohol on club premises will lose their membership and could be reported to federal and state authorities.
  • Charlie Nelson reported the “St. Augustine Community Traveler” is preparing an article on the club.
• Adjournment – the meeting was adjourned at 7:25 pm.
• The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2010.
