North Florida Archers – meeting minutes

May 7, 2008

Opened Meeting:

· Read and Accepted the treasures report

Discussed Old Business:

· The annual Traditional shoot went well a good time was had by all who attended.

A special thanks to all who helped set up the shoot.

· The May shoot and the cookout afterwards also went well

New Business

Some members have been moving targets on the walking range. All members are reminded that targets should not be moved except by the range officer.

The Port-o-lets are in bad shape, we discussed getting more frequent service on them.

The dumpsters are also in need of more frequent emptying, we discussed getting better service on them.

Club Phone number: we discussed options for a new club phone number and agreed to look into some possible solutions, such as an answering service or some kind of extra phone line and voice mail box.

Christmas Party: still looking into possibly holding the party at Oak Leaf Plantation.

We have a few members who are late in paying their dues, we discussed some possible ways of enforcing membership, maybe requiring membership cards to be carried and displayed.

NFA Stickers: we agreed to order some new window stickers with the club logo in white.
