North Florida Archers Meeting Minutes

July 2, 2024

  • The regular monthly club meeting of North Florida Archers was called to order at 6:02pm by Butch White, Club President
  1. REVIEW OF TREASURER’S REPORT
    • The Treasurer’s report was reviewed by Jeremy Hall, Club Treasurer, and accepted.
  2. OLD BUSINESS OR OPEN ISSUES
    • The club had to purchase an additional insurance policy for $1,000 for vehicle access/use
    • The gate has been repaired and now has a keypad to exit the facility costing $500. Then was struck by lightning causing additional repairs that will cost an additional $500
    • The Tuesday Night Working Man Shoots concluded on June 25th.
    • The IRS has not provided any additional information since the re-establishment of the EIN number.
    • City of Jacksonville has been contacted regarding the repair the road and to remove the trailer. A date has not been provided as to when it will be completed.
  3. NEW BUSINESS
    • The club monthly shoot is Sunday July 14th. The set-up will be Saturday July 13th at 12pm. Volunteers are needed.
    • The membership coordinator position will be taken over by N. Smith, Secretary.
    • There is a TBOF tournament August 2nd-4th.
    • The Club Shoot Championship is scheduled for August 18th .
    • A motion was made to not reschedule the February Club Shoot that was cancelled due to weather, which passed.
    • It was discussed to combine the Ethical and Extreme Shoot into a 2-day 50 target tournament with 25 targets each ethical and extreme shots. Date to be determined.
    • It was discussed to purchase windsocks for the 50-100 yd target bales.
  • Motion to adjourn the meeting was made at 6:22pm and carried.
