The NFA Christmas party is coming up on December 3rd from 7 pm to 11 pm. Payment is due no later than November 25th. See flyer for all details.

Abbi is still working on her issues with logging into NFA Facebook.

    1. NEW BUSINESS

There will be a new format for new member orientation. When the new member packet is sent it will include an Orientation Questionnaire that must be filled out and mailed back. They will get their membership card and decal but won’t be given the gate access code until Questionnaire is completed and mailed back.

There will be an Introduction to Archery class held at the club on November 12th from 1:30-3:00. Volunteers are needed.

Extreme Shoot will be held on November 5th. Set up for the shoot will be Thursday and Friday. Due to the standing water on the Rendezvous range, that part of the range will not be used. Registration is $20 and you may shoot only 1 class (Traditional or Compound). IBO Scoring will be used for Traditional and ASA Scoring for Compound. Minimum of 3 people are required per group.

Butch is working on the Event Calendar for the upcoming year. An ASA qualifier is scheduled for January 22nd and a Circuit shoot is scheduled for January 21st. There may be some scheduling conflicts with some events being held at Fort Caroline in the month of January.

TAS is no longer holding sanctioned events. NFA still plans to hold the TAS shoot in February 2023.

There will not be a monthly Club shoot in January 2023. Monthly shoots will start in February 2023 and go thru July 2023. Traditional shoots will be on Saturday and Compound shoots on Sunday.

NFA Championship shoot will be held in August 2023.

Club Elections will be held at the December meeting. The Treasurer position will be voted on since Debbie Allen has reached her term limit. Jeremy Hall has been nominated for the Club Treasurer. An announcement will be posted so that anyone interested in running for Treasurer may put in their name.

A new position will be implemented for next year. Bob Keaton has been selected to take on the role as Membership Coordinator. He will be responsible for keeping the new membership roster and sending out new membership packets.

Justin Connelly  jp  Jim Parsons will be responsible for logging all Shooter of the year scores.
