The meeting was called to order by Billy Loudermilk and the pledge of allegiance was given. A moment of silence was observed for our men and women serving overseas. The minutes from the previous meeting were given by Mike Chesser and accepted by the membership as read. The treasures report was given by Lesa Clifford and accepted by the membership. Charlie Nelson discussed the arrangements for the yearly Christmas party. A motion was made and seconded to have it at Club Continental and approved by the membership. Dates and more information to follow. Plans for the October 16th ethical
shoot were finalized. Scoring was set at 10, 8, -5 and X. Fliers
will be printed and distributed at various locations and events.
Prizes will be sponsored by Green Acres Sporting Goods. The extreme shoot was discussed. Food will be provided and Charlie Nelson will check with Bear Archery about donating a compound bow for the shoot. Shooter of the year standings will be posted and updated on the website. Shooting of the targets with multiple arrows at the walk around ranges was discussed and members and guest will be encouraged to shoot no more than 2 arrows per target. It was agreed to move 4 targets from the extended portion of the Traditional range to the compound side. There being no further business, a motion was made and carried to adjourn the meeting.
