- North Florida Archers meeting minutes
- The
Club Meeting was called to order by Michael Chesser. The Pledge of
Allegiance was completed and a Moment of Silence was observed for
the Men and Women serving our country.

- The
Club President called the meeting to order and no Minutes were read
from the prior meeting due to absence of the Club Secretary. Debbie
Lowe was asked to take minutes for this meeting.

- The
Club Treasurer provided a detailed summary of Club Activity for the
month of May.
- ●
Club
Checking and Savings are looking good.
- ●
The
June Monthly Shoot had almost $300 in revenue after expenses.
- ●
Tuesday
Shoots continue to have good attendance and area good income
stream..
- ●
Club
expenses were usual and customary along with some targets that were
purchased in Alabama, postage and paper targets.

- Michael
Chesser turned over the floor to Billy Loudermilk/ Club Chairman of
the Board.
- ●
The
search continues for a certified instructor to lead youth
instruction efforts which are currently suspended by membership
vote. Issue remains pending.
- ●
A
discipline issue with a lifetime member was discussed during an
special board meeting. The individual’s response letter to
potential sanctions was discussed and a decision was made to send a
formal letter and remind the member that as a Lifetime Member, he
should always be Supportive and Encouraging about Club Activity in
social media.. Negative social media commentary towards the Club and
its’ members in the future could place his ongoing right to use
the facility in jeopardy. There are several avenues in which he
could have found answers to his concerns including calling the
Chairman directly or attending a Monthly Club Meeting to voice his
concerns to Club Officers. This issue was noted to be resolved.

Michael
expressed his appreciation to the Board for how they handled the
issue mentioned above.
- ●
He
also brought up a discussion point of a storage trailer (Con-Ex
Trailer) for the 3D Targets. It is supposed to be weatherproof and
offer clean dry storage of our beloved 3D targets.

Cost
was estimated to be around $2500
- ○
The
Chairman made a motion to purchase the trailer which was 2’nd and
passed.
- ○
More
details are going to be forthcoming.
- ○
Search
to scrap the old trailer will be initiated to make room for the one.
- ●
Brief
discussion regarding the The Traditional Archery Society (TAS)
Southeast Championship in 2019.

Proposed Shoot schedule in 2019 would look like;

TAS
in Feb 8th and 9th.
- ●
Michael
will talk with the City about the proposed event schedule and see if
they can help in any way. He will also verify if vendors are allowed
to setup and operate “food trucks”, etc…
- ●
Wounded
Warrior has reached out to the Club for a potential shoot in
September.
- ○

Christmas Party Details
- ○
Shrine
Club can be rented for the venue at $75/hour and with catering, the
cost is estimated at $13/head with no Cost to the Club for the party
except for paper goods and decorations.

Party
would be scheduled for Thursday, December 13th, 2018.

made to accept party location/pricing was made and 2nd’d
- ■
Passed
with membership.
