Charles Laughlin presented the treasurer’s report. Report was approved as read Jim Parsons read minutes of the April 6, 2011 meeting. Minutes were approved as read with correction that our new tournament Liability Waiver was provided by Tralena Taratus. Billy announced the annual Traditional Rendezvous was a great success and thanked all those who provided the hard work, in particular Ben Butler, Johnie Johnson and Dan Makley
Charlie Nelson announced that Club Continental will provide a discount for the Christmas party dinner in exchange for an Archery demonstration provided by NFA on Labor Day at the Club Continental property. Please contact Charlie Nelson if you can help with this archery demonstration. Billy Loudermilk nominated Johnie Johnson as a board member. All members present approved the nomination. Billy Loudermilk announced some of the new targets are already in need of repair. Please respect the club property. Billy Loudermilk reminded everyone there are now 12 know distances at our shoots. He also reminded everyone of the "pack it in,. pack it out" rule. Take your trash out with you. Billy Loudermilk suggested we contact the pota-potty company to see if we can have the porta-potty's cleaned the Friday before our shoot events. Billy Loudermilk Thanked Daniel Vorhees for his graphics arts contributions to the club. The Traditional Rendezvous tee shirt was a big success. Charlie Nelson announced he thinks the new club membership rules are working. Charlie Nelson announced he is still working details to get further discounts for our next order of targets. Charlie Nelson asked Phil Wyrick to check with local golf clubs and see if we can obtain some bags for our target bales. Earman Comper donated a takedown longbow to the club for use in our archery instruction programs.
