North Florida Archers meeting minutes 6 p.m. – August 5, 2009 |
Officers present: John Guttry, Bill Laudermilk, Charles
Laughlin, Jim Parsons, Shane DeLance, Charlie Nelson The meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm and opened with
the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of silence for our troops. Charles Laughlin read the treasurer’s report. The treasurer’s report was approved as

minutes were approved as read. Discussion of old business: The tree stands have yet to be numbered. Bill Loudermilk
said he would complete this item within the week. Treestand #1 (Southern most
stand) will be permanently off limits. The Extreme shoot luncheon will be hot dogs and hamburgers
along with side dishes of slaw, beans, etc.
The meal cost for non-members will be $5.00 New Business: The extreme shoot will consist of 30 targets, no maximum
distance. Volunteers are needed to help with this event. Please come and help with the setup of the
targets Friday and Saturday, August 14 & 15 before the shoot. Also, please plan to hang around long
enough Sunday after the shoot to help pull the targets and clean up. Your
help will be greatly appreciated. It was decided to continue the mulligan option for all
shoots. This year’s Christmas party dinner will be buffet style.
The menu is still being decided. Charlie Nelson reported the “Sportsman’s Channel” will be
shooting some video at the North Florida Archers and that the club will be
represented in this video. Airtime of this video will be announced at a later
date. Adjournment
