Jim Parsons read minutes of the June 2, 2010 and July 7, 2010 meetings. Both were approved as read.

Old business: Signs announcing property security have been obtained and posted.

12 Boy scouts used the NFA facilities during the month of June to help fulfill Archery Merit badge requirements.

New Business: A menu for the annual Christmas party was obtained and discussed. It was voted that we would once again do a buffet style dinner using the "Tour of Italy" menu from the Eagle Landing Clubhouse Restaurant. It was also approved to proceed with securing the reservation date.

John Guttry announced that club meetings will continue through October this year instead of September as in the past.

Our annual year end Extreme shoot is scheduled for August 15, 2010. Volunteers will be needed to setup and take down the shoot. Please arrive by 8am Saturday for setup of the shoot and plan to stay a little after the shoot on Sunday to help take down and put away the targets. The year end Extreme Shoot includes a family style cookout which will be no cost to club members and their family. There is a charge of $5/plate for non club members.

It was announced by Charles Laughlin that the August 1 shoot had good attendance despite the hot weather, an ASA shoot and a another local shoot all the same weekend.

Allen Sparkman made a proposal to change the club meeting night to Tuesday or Thursday night. The reason stated was heavy plane traffic of Wednesdays. Further discussion and a vote was postponed to the September meeting.

Adjournment – the meeting was adjourned at 6:25 pm.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010.
