North Florida Archers meeting minutes

The regular monthly club meeting of North Florida Archers was called to order at 7:30 pm by Butch White, Club President

    1. REVIEW OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
    2. The minutes for the previous meeting were not available, Debbie Lowe was not present at July meeting

    3. REVIEW OF TREASURER’S REPORT
    4. The Treasurer’s report was reviewed by Debbie Allen, Club Treasurer and accepted.

    5. OLD BUSINESS OR OPEN ISSUES

Electronic gate is being installed. Installation will be completed once all parts are in. Keypad gives us 10,000 code options (4 digit combos). Butch would like to assign each member a code. This will be done on a trial basis to see how it works. Will keep the current 4 digit code until all individual codes are issued.

Mike Shea picked up ASA targets-4 new targets and 17 cores.

Reinhardt targets have been ordered; expected to come in November.

The COI was received back from the City and finalized. Actual contract is pending signature from the Navy.

IV. NEW BUSINESS

Club monthly shoots for Traditional and Compound will be held on August 27th and 28th.

TBOF shoot is this weekend, August 5th, 6th and 7th.

NFA Traditional Championship will be held on September 3rd and 4th. The Compound Championship will be held on September 10th and 11th.

Butch ordered Broadhead buck target cores. The Broadhead buck targets will be placed on the Broadhead range to be used only for hunting season. The elevated stands on the Broadhead range have been repaired.

Mike Chesser has resigned as Vice president. There will be a special election at September’s meeting. If anyone is interested in running for VP; please submit your name to NFA email.

    1. OPEN DISCUSSION

For 2023, ASA has added 2 new targets-Black Buck and Antelope. The club may need to consider purchasing them. The cost will be approximately $700.

Motion to adjourn meeting was made at 7:54 pm and carried.
