Jim Parsons read minutes of the May 4, 2011 meeting. Minutes were approved as read. Jim Parsons was out of town for the June 1, 2011. Minutes of the June 1, 2011 meeting were unavailable.
Billy Loudermil announced a limited supply of youth sized club tee shirts has been obtained.
Billy Loudermilk announced the details of the August "Annual Extreme Shoot" are still in progress. He suggested the club obtain a larger supply of event tee shirts for the Extreme shoot since the event tee shirts for the Annual Traditional Rendezvous sold out fast.
John Guttry mentioned the last batch of purchased targets has not held up very well and are already in need of repairs. He mentioned Green Acres is offering some previously used ASA targets for sale. It was suggested we purchase 10-12 of these targets. A motion was made and seconded. All in attendance approved.
John Guttry announced that Phil Wyrick had been elected the club's Range officer at the June 1, 2011 meeting.
Billy Loudermilk announced the Tuesday night "Working Man Shoot" will end with the shoot on the first Tues in August (8/2/11)
John Guttry mentioned hunting season is coming up and requested the clubs tree stands be inspected. Phil Wyrick suggested we obtain laminated signs to post on each tree stand reminding everyone that a safety harness is required while using the tree stands. A motion was made and seconded. All in attendance approved.
Billy Loudermilk discussed some of the details and plans for the August "Annual Extreme Shoot" (Aug 14, 2011). He mentioned the need for posters, extra restrooms facilities, setups, rules clarification, etc. There will be a cookout at this shoot but the menu and details have not yet been finalized.
